Hello and welcome, we are
Rudi & Gin,
we have the best job in the world! We believe amazing photos are important, but having the right people behind the camera matters just as much. That's where we come in: we bring not only our cameras but big smiles too, and we'll keep things fun and relaxed throughout your big day. We're based in Newcastle upon Tyne and travel across the UK to capture beautiful weddings.
We understand first hand how stressful and how beautiful a wedding day is, and this is where we differ from many other photographers. If a bride isn't comfortable with a male photographer during her morning preparations, Gin is there to capture everything that's needed. For the groom's morning, Rudi is there to put him at ease and capture his style on the day.
As business partners, we started our photography careers shooting events and interiors. That work, along with our love of travel, inspired us to move into wedding photography, which we've specialised in ever since.

RG Memories Photography was founded in Newcastle upon Tyne and is established in the North East, covering the rest of the UK and destination weddings too. We're honoured to attend some of the top wedding fairs in the North East, such as Wynyard Hall, Beamish Hall and St James' Park, some organised by BELLE Bridal Magazine and Wedding Fairs North East. Our work shows excellence in detail, professionalism and natural creativity.
Gin
PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHER
Gin is one of the North East's most wonderful photographers, with a great eye for interior design and two Bachelor's Honours degrees, one of them in Interior Design. Her work focuses on candid moments. A master of colour and creative framing, she tells the story of your wedding day by capturing romantic moments as they unfold. An artist at heart, she joined the world of photography many years ago to follow her passion. Gin loves playing tennis, is a fantastic chef, and is in love with nature and the simple moments in life.

Rudi has a remarkable eye for creativity and a gift for helping people feel at ease and come out of his shell. He draws naturally on each moment to capture the best of every element. Years of dedication have shaped his eye, so whether he's filming or photographing, he captures not only the natural moments others see but the images that make memories last a lifetime. Rudi has a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years in the photography industry. He's professional, friendly, outgoing and full of smiles, and he's a proud dog dad who grabs every opportunity to enjoy life, from reading his favourite book to visiting exotic countries, tasting exquisite food, relaxing in the spa and, of course, shopping for new photography equipment.
